Blue Mornings, Blue Temperament

It was 6:30 AM and the infinite rays of blue pierce through my blinds and surround my room with a bliss like no other.
With a careful precision the colour engulfed my room dictating it’s ownership; “what is yours is also mine” it echoed towards my four walls.
Unlike the other colours, blue was the substance that filled the oceans but also dominated the sky, it surrounded me always.
Unlike the harsh realities of red, the blue left me at peace when the sky was grey, it was as royal as purple and as forgiving as the yellow in spring.
The only difference was that the blue didn’t change tone like the brown that Autumn sings, but remained as constant as the green filled summers not knowing what the day will bring.
See, seasons changed but your shade remained the same, they never lacked posture but only seemed to intensify, I couldn’t see it getting better.
Until I realised and finally put the lost fragments of the puzzle together, that when I looked to the sky it was in fact the colour blue that came to mind when someone said that they felt under the weather.
